Mayfair Women's Center is a private women's health care clinic, specializing in abortion and contraception services. Mayfair Women's Center was opened in 1975, shortly after the Roe v Wade decision, as one of the first safe and professional clinics in Colorado to offer abortion services. We have been in continuous operation for the past 33 years and we have an exceptional safety record.
We have been very lucky at Mayfair to have had only two medical directors during our entire history. Our founding physician, James J Parks MD was a highly respected Obstetrician/Gynecologist in Denver, and he personally trained our current medical director, Ronald E Kuseski MD, in abortion care. Dr Kuseski is a 1976 graduate of the Obstetrics and Gynecology residency program at Saint Joseph Hospital here in Denver. Dr Kuseski spent 14 years in private and clinical practice in Colorado, before returning to Mayfair in 1990 to take over the clinic from the retiring Dr Parks. Dr Kuseski has over 33 years of experience in abortion services and is one of the top two most experienced abortion providers in Colorado. Dr Kuseski is on the teaching staff at The University Hospital here in Denver, where, for the past 14 years he has been teaching abortion care to the residents in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Mayfair Women's Center is located in Aurora, just east of the intersection of Interstate 225 and Iliff. We are located in a professional office park and have private parking in front of our building. Our building is located at the back of a private cul-de-sac into which no trespassers are allowed to enter. There are several very reasonable motels within a 2 block radius of the clinic. In addition, there are many restaurants and shopping facilities nearby. Please ask our staff for further information when you call for your appointment.
Our primary focus at Mayfair Women's Center is to assure the privacy, safety and dignity of our patients. Our staff is small, supportive, dedicated, and very experienced. We include physicians, nurses, a Nurse Practitioner, counselors, laboratory personnel, scheduling specialists, and office support staff. Among us are fluent speakers of Spanish and Mandarin Chinese. In addition, we have access to professional interpreters of other languages and of American Sign Language. Please let us know if you need assistance arranging for an interpreter. We care for patients from all over the world, who come to us from a variety of cultural and ethnic backgrounds.
